HIstory

What began in the late 90’s as a boutique graphic design studio, over 25 years has grown into a letterpress print shop and is now the press moniker for all of my books.

When I began Angel Bomb as a small design firm in 1997, I didn't know anything about owning presses, just not realizing how available they were. I had ideas I wanted to print, but just wasn’t aware of the possibilities. After receiving a tiny table-top press for a gift in 2006, I immediately bought my first Chandler & Price full-size press and set to work. After training with some great local printers I started printing my own work and pro-bono projects to hone my skills. Once I felt comfortable on press and pleased with the quality of my work, I offered it up to clients.

CLIENTS

Over the past fifteen years I've had the pleasure to work with some amazing clients as well as design and print wonderful work. I'll show some samples below of work I'm particularly proud of. From major packaging lines for a skin-care company to wedding invitations to endless boxes of business cards, I’ve designed and printed them all. I have a body of work I’m exceedingly proud to call my own. Feel free to browse some examples below.

Rainbow foil stamping, blind embossing, duplexing, etc. etc. etc.

PRESSES

I’ve owned nine presses over the years, often looking to improve my capabilities with size and/or speed. I now have a dependable stable of two Heidelberg Windmills, a beautiful Heidelberg cylinder and a Vandercook 219. The Heidelbergs all date from the 1950s and the Vandercook is even older.

CUSTOM WORK

I am available for commissions, but as I am focusing on book arts, will only take on projects that I feel are a good fit for the studio and for my availability. If you're looking someone who can envision something amazing for you, please reach out.
